Do you service outboards or just inboard diesels?
Both. We service all Yamaha 4-stroke outboards (25hp to 450hp) as well as inboard diesel engines from Cummins, CAT, MAN, Yanmar, and Volvo Penta. Whether it's a lower unit rebuild on a Yamaha F300 or a full overhaul on a CAT C18, we handle it.
Can you come to my boat or do I need to bring it to a shop?
We're a mobile marine service. We come to your dock, slip, or boatyard anywhere in Southwest Florida — Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples, Punta Gorda, and surrounding areas. No need to haul your boat unless the job requires it.
How much does a marine engine overhaul cost?
It depends on the engine size and scope. A Yanmar 3-cylinder top-end rebuild might run $3,000-$5,000. A twin CAT C12 overhaul could be $25,000-$40,000+. We provide detailed written estimates before starting any major work. Call 239-323-9600 for a free consultation.
Do you have factory diagnostic tools?
Yes. We carry Cummins INSITE, CAT Electronic Technician (ET), Volvo Penta VODIA, Yamaha YDIS, and Yanmar diagnostic software. These tools let us read fault codes, run cylinder cutout tests, check fuel trim, and reprogram ECUs — the same capability as the dealer.
What's your hourly rate for engine work?
Standard rate is $160/hr. Emergency and expedited service is $220/hr. We don't pad hours — 25 years of experience means we diagnose faster and fix it right the first time.
