Roland has spent 30+ years as a marine technician and holds the owner-supplied MCI Master of Yachts 200 GT credential. He started Accumar Marine Services with a straightforward approach: diagnose first, fix it right, don't come back for the same problem.
Across 30+ years and hundreds of thousands of combined hands-on build and service hours, we have encountered just about every marine-systems scenario imaginable.
That experience supports faster pattern recognition, but every job still begins with diagnosis and verification.
His background spans marine air conditioning, refrigeration, diesel and gas engines, hydraulic steering, sailboat rigging, electrical systems, and vessel operations. His work spans marine HVAC, electrical, rigging, pumps, hydraulics, mechanical systems, and the diagnostic process required to separate symptoms from root causes.
Service work starts with a diagnostic assessment of the reported symptoms, installed equipment, measurements, access, and available documentation. Repair options are tied to those recorded findings before a larger scope is authorized.
