Night and day difference — ice cold in minutes
Accumar flushed our marine A/C system that hadn't been serviced in over 2 years. The difference was night and day — our Dometic unit went from barely cooling to ice cold in minutes. They showed me the scale buildup they removed and it was incredible how much was in there. Highly recommend regular professional flushing.

Found issues others missed — gave us confidence for offshore passage
We were preparing for a Bahamas crossing and needed a thorough rigging inspection. Accumar went through every fitting, swage, and turnbuckle on our IP380. They found two chainplates that needed attention and a forestay with early signs of fatigue. Their attention to detail gave us complete confidence for our passage. Fair pricing and honest assessment.

Same-day emergency repair — fixed within an hour
Our Vitrifrigo refrigerator stopped cooling right before a weekend trip. Accumar came out the same day, diagnosed a failing compressor relay, and had it fixed within an hour. They also flushed the seawater condenser while they were at it. The fridge has been running perfectly ever since. Accumar is our go-to for anything marine.

Complete A/C replacement — cooler than ever
Had Accumar install a new Webasto FCF Platinum unit to replace our aging Cruisair. They handled the entire job — removing the old unit, installing the new one, running new hoses, and commissioning the system. The boat is now cooler than it's ever been. They also set us up with a maintenance schedule for regular flushing.

Furling system works like new after complete overhaul
Our Profurl furling system was getting increasingly difficult to roll and unroll. Accumar diagnosed worn bearings and a corroded foil joint. They sourced the parts, rebuilt the entire system, and it now works like new. Their rigging knowledge is exceptional — they clearly know sailboats inside and out.

Expert maintenance advice — both A/C units cooling better
After Accumar serviced our main A/C unit, I asked about maintaining the system between visits. They walked me through the flushing process and recommended a maintenance schedule. Both our units are cooling noticeably better now. Great service and honest advice at a fair price.

Watermaker output restored from 8 to 13 GPH
Accumar serviced our Spectra watermaker that had been underperforming. They flushed the system, replaced the pre-filters, and checked the membrane. Output went from 8 GPH back to the rated 13 GPH. They even walked me through the maintenance schedule so I can keep it running well. Worth every penny of the service call.

Both A/C systems restored — comfortable even in August heat
With a cat, we have two separate A/C systems and both were struggling in the Florida summer heat. Accumar flushed both systems in one visit and the improvement was dramatic. They also checked our refrigerant levels and found one unit was slightly low. Topped it off and now both sides of the boat are comfortable even in August.
See the dramatic impact of regular flushing on marine A/C heat exchangers. Scale buildup is the #1 cause of reduced cooling performance.
