Marine A/C, Refrigeration and Rigging Service in Punta Gorda

Mobile yacht-systems service for Punta Gorda marinas, Charlotte Harbor storage yards, canals and private docks.

Service around Punta Gorda

Every visit is scoped from the vessel, installed equipment, travel and safe access. Marina names do not imply a local ACCUMAR office or automatic permission to enter.

Burnt Store Marina is where we spend most of our Punta Gorda time. We also work at Fishermen's Village, in the Punta Gorda Isles canals, and at boat storage yards around Charlotte Harbor. Punta Gorda is a short run up I-75 from the ACCUMAR base in Fort Myers.

Refrigeration is a frequent part of this work. We have serviced Sea Frost on a Whitby, a 12-volt Isotherm fridge-freezer, and older galley boxes with thermostat and fan faults. On an S&S 52, we traced a refrigerator that would not hold temperature to a refrigerant leak before adding refrigerant.

Warm harbor water, growth in intakes and scale at condensers can affect boat A/C systems. At Burnt Store, we have completed descaling flushes, cleared clogged drain pans and cleaned strainers on a motor yacht over repeat visits. We also diagnosed its ice maker and freezer, while a Sea Ray at Fishermen's Village received an A/C descaling flush and cooling-pump replacement.

Sailboats are part of the Punta Gorda mix too. ACCUMAR has inspected a rig after a lightning strike, unstepped and restepped a 32-foot sloop's mast, tuned the rig, replaced an electrical panel, rewired circuits, installed a Garmin transducer, and replaced lifelines and a furler foil. We are a mobile service, mobile service from Fort Myers. Most new non-urgent work is typically scheduled about 3-4 weeks out, and business hours are Monday through Saturday, 8AM to 6PM.
