50-foot Crowther catamaran
Standing rigging replaced, with swaging completed in house (2025).
Southwest Florida's Yacht Systems Specialist
Rigging, shore power and electronics for boats at Sanibel Marina and island docks.
Local systems work
Every visit is scoped from the vessel, installed equipment, travel and safe access. Marina names do not imply a local ACCUMAR office or automatic permission to enter.
Sanibel is an island service area for ACCUMAR, with mobile yacht-systems work at Sanibel Marina and private docks when the owner, marina, or property authorizes access. Our Fort Myers base is the base for service across Southwest Florida, and ACCUMAR is mobile service from Fort Myers.
The Sanibel work in our records is centered on sailboat rigging, shore-power systems, marine electronics, and selected mechanical troubleshooting. On a 50-foot Crowther catamaran, we replaced standing rigging and completed the swaging in house. Earlier work on the same boat included a masthead light, VHF antenna, wind sensor, tricolor, and radome.
At Sanibel Marina, ACCUMAR installed and integrated isolation transformers for a motor yacht's shore-power system and cleaned a Racor 1000 filter body. We also diagnosed a Garmin system on a 37-foot Back Cove that was losing heading and speed, and diagnosed a seized generator on an island boat.
Most new non-urgent work is typically scheduled about 3-4 weeks out. Standard hours are Monday through Saturday, 8AM-6PM. Urgent requests are reviewed during business hours only. Tell us the vessel location, marina or dock, access requirements, and the system symptoms when you call or request service.
