Systems matrix
AMS Stabilizers organizes fin and gyro work around the installed system’s control, power, cooling, actuation, mechanical, hull-interface, access, commissioning, and maintenance requirements.
Hydraulic or electric fin systems evaluated from the controller to the underwater load.
Model-specific gyro service begins with operating history, alarms, cooling, power, controls, and access.
Connected power, cooling, fluid, control, and actuation systems are tested before parts are condemned.
Application, access, integration, commissioning, documentation, and maintenance are planned as one service path.
How the division works
The process follows the complete vessel system—not a single component in isolation. That reduces unnecessary parts replacement and creates a cleaner service record for the next decision.
We begin with vessel data, manufacturer, model, controller messages, operating hours, fault history, service records, photos, and current access.
Testing follows the complete stabilization chain, including controls, sensors, electrical supply, hydraulic pressure and flow, cooling, actuation, shafts, seals, bearings, fins, gyro modules, and mechanical load as applicable.
The scope may involve maintenance, calibration, controls, cooling, hoses, filtration, actuator or shaft work, seal and bearing service, component repair, manufacturer support, haul-out, or replacement planning.
Completed work is checked against the installed system’s procedures and realistic operating conditions, with findings and follow-up requirements recorded for the vessel.
Field evidence
Project images are shown with factual captions so owners, captains, engineers, and yards can understand the type of work behind the service claim.

The external fin, shaft location, and surrounding hull interface are visible during coordinated boatyard access.

Open resourceDivision FAQ
AMS Stabilizers is the dedicated division for fin and gyro stabilization systems, including controls, actuation, shafts, seals, bearings, cooling, installation support, commissioning, and maintenance. AMS Hydraulics remains the broader division for steering, thrusters, cylinders, pumps, valves, hoses, lifting equipment, and hydraulic power systems. The two divisions coordinate when a stabilizer fault crosses hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, or control boundaries.
Accumar Marine Services is an authorized dealer and authorized service provider for Wesmar, Naiad Dynamics, and ABT-TRAC in Southwest Florida. Keypower by Kobelt, Humphree, Smartgyro, Seakeeper, Besenzoni, and other accepted installed systems are described as service capability only unless separate authorization is documented.
Yes. Fin-system work may involve hydraulic or electric actuation, shafts, seals, bearings, fins, controls, sensors, and cooling. Gyro-system scope is confirmed from the installed model and may include alarms, cooling, electrical supply, controls, operating history, access, and manufacturer-supported service requirements.
Many controller, alarm, electrical, hydraulic, cooling, leak, and operating-history checks can begin dockside. Fin, shaft, bearing, hull-interface, load-test, or underwater work may require boatyard access or haul-out coordination.
Send the vessel make, model, length, location, stabilizer manufacturer and model, controller messages, when the fault occurs, recent service history, operating hours where available, photos, and whether the vessel is afloat or hauled.
AMS can evaluate installation or replacement projects, coordinate application data, equipment access, yard work, electrical and hydraulic integration, controls, commissioning, and documentation. Final equipment selection, availability, scope, and schedule depend on the vessel and current manufacturer or distributor support.
Yes. A model-specific maintenance scope can include controller history, cooling, fluid and filters, hoses and fittings, actuators, shafts, seals, bearings, linkages, fasteners, sensors, alarms, electrical connections, operating checks, and documentation.
AMS provides mobile stabilizer service across Southwest Florida, including Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples, Fort Myers Beach, Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, Bonita Springs, Sanibel, and surrounding areas. Yard access, haul-out, insurance requirements, and facility permission are coordinated for each job.
