Thrusters, stabilizers and hydraulics while the boat is hauled at Owl Creek.
Local systems work
Every visit is scoped from the vessel, installed equipment, travel and safe access. Marina names do not imply a local ACCUMAR office or automatic permission to enter.
Alva is upriver from ACCUMAR's Fort Myers base on the Caloosahatchee. Boats in this area are usually hauled at Owl Creek Boat Works or tied up behind homes along the river, so service is planned around the vessel's location and site access.
A haul-out at Owl Creek can make under-hull systems easier to reach. ACCUMAR has serviced both bow and stern Wesmar thrusters on a commercial tour boat while it was hauled there, including seal, O-ring and gear-oil work.
River-dock work in Alva has included steering, rudder feedback, fire suppression, shore-power reel, air-conditioning, refrigeration, solar and electrical systems. ACCUMAR has also worked on bilge pumps, a generator installation and a hard-starting engine in this area.
ACCUMAR is a Southwest Florida yacht systems specialist providing mobile service, mobile service from Fort Myers. If the boat is coming out at a yard, contact us before the haul date so we can plan around it. Standard hours are Monday through Saturday, 8AM to 6PM, and new work is typically scheduled about 3-4 weeks out.
